Marcus Engel

Marcus Engel, M.S., CPXP, CSP is a Certified Speaking Professional & author whose messages provide insight and strategies for excellent patient care. His keynote presentation has been witnessed by tens of thousands of healthcare professionals and his books are used in scores of nursing and allied health programs to teach the basic foundations of caregiving.

 

As a college freshman, Marcus Engel was blinded and nearly killed after being struck by a drunk driver. Through two years of rehab, over 350 hours of reconstructive facial surgery and adaptation through a multitude of life changes, Marcus witnessed the good, the bad and the profound in patient care.

Admiral William H. McRaven

Admiral William H. McRaven is a retired U.S. Navy Four-Star admiral and the former Chancellor of the University of Texas System. During his time in the military, he commanded special operations forces at every level, eventually taking charge of the U.S. Special Operations Command. His career included combat during Desert Storm and both the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. He commanded the troops that captured Saddam Hussein and rescued Captain Phillips. McRaven is also credited with developing the plan and leading the Osama bin Laden mission in 2011.

Daryl Tol

In 2021, Daryl joined leading mental health and brain research nonprofit One Mind as Executive Vice President, overseeing the One Mind at Work programs and contributing to One Mind’s vision and objectives. Tol brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership, as well as personal, lived experience of mental health struggles.

 

During his 20-year tenure at AdventHealth, Tol held executive leadership roles across the health system’s regional divisions. Most recently, he served for six years as the President/CEO of its $6 billion, 16 hospital Central Florida Division. In this position, Tol built a transformational strategy focused on consumer-centered connected care. Tol also led the development of the national company’s consumer technology and analytics products, grew the Central Florida Division through the acquisition of two hospital facilities, ownership in a neighboring four-hospital health system, and the opening of dozens of additional care sites.

Geeta Nayyar, M.D., M.B.A.

Dr. Nayyar is a Senior VP & Executive Medical Director at Salesforce. She is a specialist in Rheumatology and an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Miami. She serves on the board for the American Telemedicine Association and the University of Miami Medical School Alumni Board.

She is a nationally recognized leader in healthcare and a regular contributor to CNN and PBS.

Dr. Nayyar has a unique perspective bridging clinical medicine, business, and digital health.
