Pre-Conference Event January 20

Attendees are asked to register for the virtual pre-conference event when they register to attend VHEF. Closer to January 20, an outlook appointment will be sent that includes the Zoom link to attend the virtual event.

Invite Only Network Meetings

Attendees invited to attend the network meetings taking place in-person prior to VHEF will have the option to register for that network meeting within the VHEF registration. Invite only participant emails have been loaded into the registration system to display the appropriate meeting for each attendee.

Proof of Vaccination

All in-person attendees will need to show proof of COVID-19 vaccination in order to attend Vizient’s Health Care Executive Forum in Scottsdale, AZ February 11-12, 2022.  Attendees will need to be fully vaccinated with an approved vaccine or approved  for emergency use by the FDA or World Health Organization (WHO). 

We continue to evaluate and expand our health safety protocols as medical recommendations evolve. We will follow state and local guidelines and recommendations by the CDC.

Members 
 

·    CLEAR APP: For the most efficient entry possible, members should enroll with CLEAR before the event to complete their COVID-19 pre-screening. CLEAR Health Pass is a free feature in the CLEAR app that provides an easy way to complete health screenings and a health pass that will be required to attend the Vizient Health Care Executive Forum.

 

NOTE: You will not see the Vizient Health Care Executive Forum listed under events in the app at this time. 

Download the free CLEAR app in the Apple App Store or Android App Store

Then follow these steps:

1. Click Profile on bottom right

2. Click Sign Up

3. Choose the Free Option

4. Click Next

5. Enter your email address (and phone number) and confirm with SMS verification code

6. Accept CLEAR’s Membership Terms & Conditions

7. Take a photo of your government-issued ID

8. CLEAR accounts can be created using any of the following documents:

1.    US Passport

2.    US State IDs or Drivers licenses

3.    NYC Identification Card

4.    US Permanent Resident Card

5.    All International Passports are accepted (except for OFAC sanctioned countries)

9. Take a quick selfie for verification

10. Set up an account password and you’ll be directed back to the checklist of requirements to complete your Health Pass.

There are multiple options to digitally verify your COVID-19 vaccine, select the one that works best for you:

Upload a photo of your CDC Vaccine Card (scroll down to Digital Vaccine Card box)

·    Select ‘add your vaccination card’

·    Complete selfie verification

·    Take a photo of your vaccination card and confirm your vaccine information

·    Please note, the photo of your CDC card is used to generate a Health Pass. You will not be able to access it again after it is taken.

·    Once confirmed, proceed to complete your Health Pass

-OR- 

Digitally link a vaccine from a Health System or Pharmacy

·    Select your vaccine provider in the menu or by searching ‘other providers’. Log-in to your patient portal and follow instructions to securely link your account with CLEAR. The CLEAR app is integrated with select healthcare providers and pharmacies.

·    If you are unable to find your provider in search, CLEAR may not be able to link with them at this time.

·    Check that your COVID-19 vaccine appears in your patient portal, if not we recommend you reach out to your provider directly

·    Your results will link automatically - do not try to resync your results

·    Note, sync time varies by provider and may take up to 30 minutes

 

How does CLEAR protect my personal data

  • Privacy is at the center of everything CLEAR does and they are fully committed to protecting their members' information. Your personal information will not be sold nor rented by anyone. Personal information is only used to deliver a frictionless and secure experience with CLEAR. You can read more details about this in CLEAR’s Privacy Policy which can be reviewed here.

 

Vizient Staff


Confirmation of your vaccination will be managed through the HR Workplace Safe Vaccine process. We have received notification from HR of any staff member who has already submitted proof of vaccination. You do not have to resubmit proof of vaccination again.

 

If you have not submitted proof of vaccination to HR confidential, please follow these steps if you plan to attend in person in Scottsdale.
 

  • Log in to the Workplace Safe Vaccine Log to enter your vaccine information and upload a photo of your vaccine card.  

    • The photo should be the front of your vaccine card, where you see the brand of vaccine, the date(s) and the batch number(s). Any file format works.  

  • Watch for an approval email from WorkplaceSafe@vizientinc.com within 48 hours. Once you receive that, you will be added to the Vizient staff in person attendance database.

BEFORE YOU ATTEND

VACCINATION REQUIRED

  • Why is Vizient insisting on full COVID-19 vaccination?

    • After careful consideration and consultation with internal and external health and safety experts, Vizient has determined that the VHEF can be the most robust, productive and interactive summit possible by requiring vaccinations for entry.

  • Will Vizient accept a negative PCR test? ​

    • No Vizient will not accept this test.

  • How will Vizient verify my vaccination status?

    • Vizient will be utilizing the CLEAR app for members and suppliers to upload or digitally link your vaccination card to provide a bar code that will be scanned before entry into VHEF. Vizient staff will follow an internal validation process.

  • Will Vizient be allowing medical or religious exemptions for the vaccination? 

    • Vizient is working to create the safest environment for our attendees possible and therefore, we will not be making an exceptions to the meeting vaccination policy.

  • Will Vizient accept an immunology blood test result showing natural immunity if I have already recovered from COVID?

    • Vizient will not accept this test for natural immunity – a vaccination will be required even for individuals that have natural immunity.   

  • Is Vizient collecting, storing, or processing my vaccination information?

    • Vizient will not be collecting or maintaining information about vaccination status.

  • Who will have access to my vaccine information?

    • The Clear App is a secure and confidential tool that will provide visibility only within the tool for verification that you are fully vaccinated.  Other will not be able to see any of your information. ​

Additional Questions

  • What if I have known exposure to COVID-19 before attending VHEF?

    • If you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have reason to believe you currently have COVID-19, you should not attend VHEF, including if these conditions emerge while you are in Scottsdale.

    • Vizient is working to provide a safe and meaningful conference and trust that attendees and Vizient staff will do as well.

      Before picking up their badge, all individuals will be asked to complete the following affirmation:

      • I have and will comply with the Vizient Health and Safety protocols.

      • I have not had a COVID-19 diagnosis and, to the best of my knowledge, I have not been exposed to COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

      • I have not experienced the onset of any one of the primary symptoms of COVID-19 in the past 14 days.

      • If I experience any symptoms associated with COVID-19 during VHEF, I will immediately seek out appropriate medical care.

      • If I test positive for COVID-19 at any point during VHEF, I will notify Vizient and I will not attend any more in-person Vizient events. I will follow applicable guidelines for individuals who test positive for COVID-19.

      • I will respect others’ comfort levels with respect to mask wearing, social distancing, and physical contact (e.g. handshakes).


We expect all individuals will think carefully about any risk they may pose to others and to make informed choices about travel as well as onsite and external engagement. 

  • Is COVID-19 testing required before attending VHEF or will it be necessary at any point during conference?

    • No, testing will not be required for entry to VHEF. However, Vizient will be facilitating access to testing for anyone experiencing symptoms while attending VHEF.

    • Attendee will have a list of locations and options for testing.  We will ask individuals to quarantine in their guest room until results are available.

SAFETY PROTOCOLS

  • How will registration be handled at VHEF?

    • Because each attendee and Vizient staff will need to show proof of vaccination and complete an attestation onsite confirming compliance with Vizient Health and Safety protocols, each registrant will need to pick up their own badge in person.

    • We will provide the option of touchless registration stations that utilizes a QR code scan for attendees to retrieve their badges along with registration staff to assist if you would prefer we print your badge

    • We will provide more details on the specific locations and hours closer to the start of VHEF

    • Additionally, throughout the meeting space, Vizient will be providing masks and sanitary stations for attendees. 

  • What if I have additional questions?
